Master Pet Stylist (MPS)
This rigorous program specializes in grooming all breeds to standard and is the advanced certification following Dermatech Specialist. Few groomers have successfully earned this certification due to the exceptionally challenging course content.
Dermatech Specialist (DTS)
This
certification involves an intense and in-depth study of canine skin and
coat (including conditions and abnormalities) and topical conditioning protocols to produce the ideal breed standard coat.
Certified Master Groomer (CMG)
This certification requires rigorous testing of groomer's knowledge of the hundreds of recognized breeds. This includes anatomy, bathing, safety, health, sanitation, breed characteristics, breed standard haircuts and coat maintenance.
Companion Animal Hygienist (CAH)
A highly challenging program that tests the groomer's knowledge about proper handling of skin and coat and maintaining different coat types and textures.
